Judith “Judy” Ann Miller Hopkins, 66, of Forsyth, formerly of Fitzgerald, Georgia, passed away peacefully surrounded by family Friday, February 9, 2024, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 2PM Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, with Rev. Scott McMillan and Kathy Garland officiating. The interment will follow at Rose Hill cemetery in Ashburn Georgia. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Hopkins was born July 20, 1957 in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late Willie and Juanita Dobbins Miller. She retired from the Department of Revenue where she was employed as a Revenue Agent. Mrs. Hopkins was a fantastic wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt. She will always be remembered for being there in times of need. She had a great sense of humor, and could light up a room. She fully enjoyed music, and playing the piano, and loved her dogs Finn and Lilly.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Royce Hopkins; children: Derek Wilkerson, Patricia Waite and Roy Hopkins & Ashley; grandchildren: James Waite, Caleb Hopkins and Landon Hopkins; sisters: Jean Ford, and Joan Ford & Kenneth; several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother Willie Miller Jr., and a brother-in-law Millard Ford.
