Marie A. Hetzel, 88 died February 7, 2024 at Courville Nursing Home following a brief illness.
She was born in Muscoda, WI., on December 10, 1935 the daughter of Alphons and Mabel (Viktora) Bomkamp.
She was a parishioner of St. Pius X Church. She was also part of a knitting group at the church. She was part of the exercise group for seniors at the Elliot Senior Center.

Finally, in 1966, they settled in Manchester where they had their last child. Many summers were spent traveling back to Muscoda to visit family and friends.
Marie loved her family time with her children and grandchildren. On any given day there could be any number of grandchildren at her home, and she loved every single one of them.
Marie looked forward to her monthly lunches with her daughters and loved to indulge in a fancy cocktail.
She had a fun, playful side to her that when it came out, you were blessed to have been a part of it.
Marie was the epitome of the perfect homemaker. She made every holiday a memorable feast with her cooking and baking and passed on her sweet tooth.
Saint Marie, as she was affectionately known, was the heartbeat of her family and will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
