Barbara J. Baker, 74, of Sandown, New Hampshire, died Sunday, February 4, 2024 at Bowman Place at Olde Bedford Assisting Living in Bedford, New Hampshire.
Born in Providence, Rhode Island on October 12, 1949, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Dorothy (Wilbur) Baker.
Barbara was a resident of Sandown, New Hampshire for the past seven years and formerly resided in Franklin for many years.
She grew up in Warwick, Rhode Island, graduated from Pilgrim High School, and attended Katharine Gibbs Secretarial School.
Before her retirement, she worked at Jaco, Inc. in Franklin for 20 years.
Barbara enjoyed sewing, gardening, and bowling, and loved to bake and entertain friends at her home.
She is survived by two daughters, Holly Reyes of Lake Arrowhead, California and Kate Savery and her husband Nick of Sandown, and six grandchildren, Jacob, Isaac, Daniel, Asher, Cole and Ember.
She is also survived by her brother Retired USAF Col. Robert Baker and his wife Norma of Millersville, Maryland and two nephews, Kevin and Russell.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Friday, February 16 at 12 p.m. in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main St. in Franklin (ginleyfuneralhomes.com). Burial will follow at Rehoboth Village Cemetery in Rehoboth.
A calling hour will be held on Friday morning from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
