Ada Ellis, 92, of Tifton passed away Sunday, September 5, 2004, at River Willows Nursing Center in Abbeville. Her funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 9, 2004, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. John S. Gibbs, Sr. officiating. Miss Ellis was laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Born July 14m 1912, in Abbeville, Miss Ellis was the daughter of the late John William Ellis and Mary Elizabeth Clements
Ellis. She was a retired waitress; and she was of the Primitive Baptist faith.
Miss Ellis is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
