Eduardo Jose Aguila, 62, of Millis, died February 5 in Milford Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. He was the husband of Angela J. Turner for the past 19 years.
Born in San Francisco, California, November 11, 1961, Eduardo was raised in San Francisco and had lived in Massachusetts since 1989.
He was a graduate of Northeastern University with a BS in Electrical Engineering.
Eduardo served in the Air Force. After the Air Force, he worked at Raytheon for 6 years. He then worked for the Staples Corporation for 20 years.
He had been a security engineer for the Novartis Pharmaceutical Company for the past four years.
He enjoyed gardening, martial arts, music and bad jokes.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Sarah Turner of Westboro, Giovanni Aguila of Brighton and Carlos Aguila of Brighton.
His funeral mass will be on Tuesday, February 13 in St. Mary’s Church Franklin at 10:00
Burial will be in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m.
Calling hours will be on Monday, February 12 from 4-7 p.m. in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 3 Barber Street, Medway.
Due to floral restrictions at the national cemetery the family requests that donations be made in his memory to the Dana Farber Brigham Cancer Center, 22 Patriot Place, Foxboro, MA 02035.
