Mike Watts, 67, of Lenox passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024, in Cook County. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 9, 2024, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Tommy Stone officiating. Mr. Watts will be laid to rest at Lenox Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 8, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson home for Funerals.
Jerry Deal, Louis Watts, Rob Stanford, Christian Sumner, Justin Bickford and Cody Wade will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Williams, Charles Sumner and Juan Mendoza.
Born March 9, 1956, in Carrollton, Mr. Watts was the son of the late Willard Watts and Lessie Hutchinson Watts. He was an entrepreneur and enjoyed spending time tending to his cattle.
Mr. Watts is survived by his wife, Carey Coarsey Watts of Lenox; one son, Michael Watts and Corey Segars of Atlanta; one brother, Renai Watts of Nashville; and two sisters, Faye Henderson of Moreland and Nell Ogletree of Lenox.
