Obituary

CHICOPEE – Judith A. (Kobjack) Noga, 75, of the Fairview section of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Tuesday, January 30, 2024. She passed into Eternal Life at Holyoke Medical Center in Holyoke surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family. She was born in the Bronx, New York on October 9, 1948, a beloved daughter of the late John and Mabel A. (Cain) Kobjack. She was raised in the Bronx and had worked for a time as an artist at Simplicity Patterns in Manhattan, NY. She relocated to Chicopee with her mom and son, Brett and had worked as a bartender at many local bars and restaurants including the Ranch House in Springfield where she met the love of her life, her husband, John. During her leisure time, she enjoyed traveling and cruising, trying her luck at the local casinos and cheering on her New England sports teams. She was known for his Bronx accent and always remarked that, “You can take the girl out of the Bronx but you can’t take the Bronx out of the girl.” Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and her many dear friends. Her family would like to extend their deepest thanks to the staff at Mont Marie Rehabilitation and Care Center in Holyoke and Holyoke Medical Center for their compassionate care, companionship and friendship they extended to Judith during her time with them. She was predeceased by the love of her life, John S. “Nugs” Noga who was Called Home on August 11, 2022. She leaves her loving son, Brett A. Allende of Chicopee; her three loving step children, Edward J. Noga and her partner, Kelly Gloster, of Longmeadow, and Diane C. Giguere and John C. Noga, both of Chicopee; her cherished grandson, Nicholas M. Allende and his partner, Meagan; her two dear sisters in law, Nancy J. Kobjack of Wilbraham and Carole Ann Schwab of Charlton; and her many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her three dear brothers. Harry Schwab, John Kobjack and Michael Kobjack; and her dear sister, Jean Davis. Her funeral services will be private and her burial will be private at Hillcrest Park Cemetery in Springfield. There are no visiting hours.
