Theresa Maria Retecki, 74, of Milford, died Sunday, February 4, 2024 at Milford Regional Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of George Retecki who died in 1999.
Born in Norwood on March 10, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Jordan and Helen (Nikituk) Bruno.
Theresa was a resident of Milford for over 50 years. She grew up in Millis and graduated from Millis High School in 1967.
Before her retirement in 1998, Theresa worked as a telephone operator at the former New England Telephone Company for many years.
She enjoyed trips to Foxwoods but one of her favorite pastimes was giving treats to her beloved cat, Raji
Theresa is survived by her daughter Heleena Retecki and her son Peter Retecki, both of Milford.
She is also survived by two sisters Linda Champagne of Millis and Eileen Mercer and her husband Robert of Uxbridge, and many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister-in-law of the late Warren Champagne.
