Beloved father of Brian and his wife Nadia of Woburn. Linda Gaffey of Orlando, FL and Arlington. Kathleen (Gaffey) Hamilton and her husband Michael of Arlington and Michael Gaffey of Arlington. Beloved Grandfather of Lauren, Nezar, Connor and Justin.
Also survived by his former wife Rose Marie (Hand) Gaffey, his sister Catherine (Gaffey) Everett of FL and many nieces and nephews.
His funeral Mass will be celebrated in St Joseph’s Church, 118 High St., Medford Square on Saturday, February 10th at 11:30AM. Relatives and friends are invited. Interment is private.
Edward was the former owner of Gaffey Funeral Homes in Medford, Arlington and Scituate. He was an avid golfer and longtime member of the Winchester Country Club and Quail Ridge CC in Boynton Beach, FL. He was a past club champion at the course he grew up on Hatherly Country Club in Scituate, MA.
