Mr. Holmberg always looked forward to reading his many magazines, especially ones that were about yachting, railroads, flying and motorcycles. He would often look at model train plans and then improve them with his own personal touches. John was a fan of big band music and was always fascinated to learn more information about the large steam engines that were used to transport across the country.
John often took trips with his wife to the Rhode Island shores to watch the boats enter and exit the marina but most of all Mr. Holmberg enjoyed being with his family. He cherished the times that he was able to spend with his wife, children and grandchildren.
