WEBSTER - Elizabeth G. Braczyk, 73, died Sunday, February 4, 2024 at The Reservoir in Framingham.
She leaves her best friend forever, her cat Lucy; 2 nieces; and dear friends in her Webster neighborhood.
She grew up in Framingham and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst in 1972.
Elizabeth held various secretarial positions throughout her adult life. She retired from Mapfre in 2015.
She loved cats, The Beatles and reading mysteries. Much of her free time was spent writing poetry and improvising song lyrics. Her book of poetry, “Thank God for Rainbows,” was published last year. Above all, she admired honesty, kindness and the courage to persevere.
A private graveside service will be held in Mount Zion Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street.
