Robert A. Bagnulo, Sr.
Retired Raytheon Mechanical Engineer

TEWKSBURY: Robert A. Bagnulo, Sr., age 91, a resident of Tewksbury for 55 years, formerly of East Boston and Revere, passed away at the Prescott House in North Andover on Sunday, February 4, 2024.

He was the beloved husband of Nora L. (Matlock) Bagnulo with whom he celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary on August 25, 2023, and the late Joan (Bruno) Bagnulo, who passed away on August 17, 1972.

Born in Revere on March 14, 1932, he was the son of the late Salvatore Bagnulo and the late Nunzia Lucy (Reppucci) Bagnulo.

Robert was raised in Revere and graduated from Revere High School. Following high school, he attended Northeastern University.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed for many years as a mechanical engineer by the Raytheon Corporation in Waltham and Northborough.

He enjoyed many activities including bowling in the Raytheon Bowling League, skiing the mountains of Vermont and was a longtime season ticket holder of the New England Patriots.

In addition to his wife, family members include his children, the late Robert A. Bagnulo, Jr., Barbara C. Mastacouris and her husband Peter, of Manchester, NH, Janice L. Smith and her late husband Brian “Snucker” Smith, of Hudson, NH, Donna J. White and her husband Gerald, of North Andover, Lisa J. Johnston and her husband Robert, of Salem, NH and Salvatore J. “Sal” Bagnulo and his wife Ellen, of Methuen. He leaves 14 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Robert was the brother of the late Salvatore A. Bagnulo, Celia L. DiPietro and Thelma C. King.

Calling hours are Friday, February 9th, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee Street, Tewksbury, followed by his funeral procession to St. Mary Cemetery, 90 River Road, Tewksbury, where a graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m.
