Obituary

LIMERICK- David Lee Snyder, age 86, passed away on Feb. 3, 2024, at St. Andre Healthcare in Biddeford.
He was born in Hersey, PA, a son of the late David B. and Macel (Lee) Snyder and graduated from Hummelstown High School in PA.

David proudly served our country for 20 years in the United States Air Force and retired as a Tech Sergeant. White serving, David was a mechanic and air traffic controller.

David was also employed at International Paper.

He will always be remembered for the enjoyment he had outdoors, including snowmobiling, canoeing, camping, and going on long drives on country roads.

He was a member of the American Legion in Limerick and a parishioner of St. Matthew’s Church in Limerick. At the church, he was involved with the Armed Forces Outreach Group and assisted with the Funshine Fair.

Besides his parents, David is predeceased by his son Corbett Snyder; and brother- Harold Snyder.

David is survived by his beloved wife- Sandra (Daigle) Snyder; daughter- Kathryn Dow; grandson- Parker Dow; nephew- Steven Daigle and his wife Kathy; and niece- Denise Coughlin and her husband Dennis.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday February 24th at 10 AM at St. Matthew’s Roman Catholic Church, 19 Dora Lane, in Limerick. Burial will be at a later date at the Maine Veterans Cemetery in Caribou.
