Alice M. (Dupuis) Daher, 99, of New Bedford died February 4, 2024 peacefully at home.
She was the wife of the late Joseph T. Daher.
Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Joseph H. and Mary E. (Bliss) Dupuis, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.
Mrs. Daher was formerly employed as a teacher's aide at New Bedford High School until her retirement.
She enjoyed rug hooking, antique collecting and reading.
Mrs. Daher was a member of The American Lebanese Veterans Auxiliary, American Legion Moby Dick Post 459 Auxiliary, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 7 Auxiliary.
Survivors include her daughter, Mary Ann Daher and her husband Anders Jensen of Falmouth; 2 grandchildren, Garrett Boyd of Falmouth and Rachel Boyd of Somerville.
She was the mother of the late Charles Murray and the sister of the late Thomas Hart, Earle Hart and Catherine Perry.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 8th at 11 AM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Her family will receive guests Thursday moring from 10-11 AM in the funeral home prior to her service. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
