Louise T. Rose was born to the late Willie Aad Viola Thompson. Louiseā€™s mother passed away when she was only one year of age. Louise was raised by her aunt Louise Washington and father Willie Thompason. Willie met Cherrie Cunningham and married in August 1945. Louise never called her stepmother; always Mama. Louise was educated in a public school in Pensacola, FL. Louisa married Zee Martin.

After the divorce, she moved to New York, where she met and married Willie E Rose Willie and Louisa moved to Boston where he was stationed in the Navy. Louisa made Boston her home. She worked various jobs at Renes Beauty Shop and Boston State Hospital where she retired after twenty-five years. Louisa loved to play cards, cook, and give cookouts. Louisa would often return home to visit. On one occasion while home in 1957, Cherrie went into labor with her youngest sister, Selena T. Reid.

Louisa was preceded in death by her parents Willie, Viola, and Cherrie Thompson. Sister, Louise T Powers, Linda T English. Brothers Willie Thompson Rev.Anthony V.Thompson (Gloria)is left to cherish her memories. Sisters Bernette Anderson, brother David J. Thompson of Pensacola, Fl. Peggie Thompson, Selena Reid of Boston MA. Louisa raised her nephew Tyrone Rose. She had many Godchildren. Christopher Whiteside Barbers FullerLouisa has a host of nieces, nephews, and special cousins. Mrs. Marie K Young and Pecola Taylor are hosts of friends.

We will always miss her dearly!
