Raymond L. Desbonnet, 98, of Waterford, CT, passed away on January 25, 2024. Born July 24, 1925, Raymond was a dedicated husband of 76 years, married to Alice Teresa Trojanowski on August 2, 1947, in Norwich, CT.
Raymond served in the U.S. Navy Construction Battalion as a Machinist’s Mate 3rd Class from 1943 to 1946. He made a career as Manager of Red Rose Animal Feeds in Norwich, CT, and in Franklin, CT, retiring in 1991.
Raymond enjoyed duckpin bowling, golfing, gardening, and traveling.
Raymond was a devoted family man and leaves behind his beloved wife Alice, their sons Kenneth and wife Beth, Alan and wife Charlene, Donald,Brian, Richard and wife Maret, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
