Jeremy Walker Grant, 75, of New Bedford, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. He was the husband of Margaret (Farney) Grant.
Born in Haverhill, son of the late Donald and Josephine (Wiggin) Grant, he was raised in Connecticut before moving to New Bedford when he joined the Coast Guard.
Jeremy was an avid train collector and enjoyed solving word puzzles. He was a very talented carpenter and spent most of his career working for Fairhaven Shipyard. He also worked as a driver at Active Day Adult Care. Jeremy was a member of the Centro Luzo American Club.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret; his son Donald Grant; his grandchildren, Riley and Dean Grant; and his brother Peter Grant.
A private service will be held at a later date.
