Raquel Trevino Rodriguez, 60, of Tifton passed away Friday, February 2, 2024, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center in Moultrie. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 4, 2024, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Jose Lopez and the Rev. Jose Arevalos officiating. Mrs. Trevino will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery with Pastor Bulmaro Luis officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 3, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Silvero Martinez, Reyes Baltazar, John Cruz, David Pena, Narcizo Ponce and Greg Cervantes will serve as pallbearers.
Born December 31, 1963, in Mexico, Mrs. Trevino was the daughter of the late Pedro Trevino and Maria de Jesus Rodriguez. She was a homemaker; and she was a member of Vida Abundante Church in Tifton. She loved to cook; and she loved to crochet.
Mrs. Trevino is survived by her husband, Pablo Cervantes of Tifton; one son and daughter-in-law, Gregorio and Marcy Cervantes of Norman Park; two daughters and sons-in-law, Aime V. and Narcizo Ponce of Ty Ty and Paula and David Pena of Tifton; two brothers, Javier Covarrubias and Alejandro Covarrubias; seven sisters, Juana Trevino, Teodora Trevino, Herminda Trevino, Olga Covarrubias, Martha Covarrubias, Francisca Covarrubias and Jessica Covarrubias; ten grandchildren, Adriel Ponce, Asael Ponce, Neida Pena, Aleida Pena, Natalie Pena, Erick Cervantes, Niurka Cervantes, Genesis Cervantes, Miguel Quich and Daesha De Paz; three great-grandchildren, Yazmire Cervantes, Drako Cervantes and Raven Cervantes.
