Edward “Eddie” Derderian, 71, of Dedham, Massachusetts, passed away suddenly on January 29th, 2024.
Eddie was born in Belmont, Massachusetts in 1952 to Arra and Alice Derderian along with his sister Carol. His family were active members in the First Armenian Church. He grew up watching the Celtics and going to games with his family. Eddie graduated from Belmont High School and went into the workforce. Throughout his career, he worked at Polaroid, Roche Bros, and Middlesex Savings Bank.
In 1973, Eddie met his wife, Carol (Thomas) Derderian of Dedham, Massachusetts. Eddie and Carol raised their two children Arra and Carly in Dedham, Massachusetts. He was a husband, dad, coach, and loving caretaker to his parents.
In 2017, Eddie retired from Middlesex Savings Bank and spent time at his camp on Lake Winnipesaukee with Carol. They both loved the beach, the lake, and time together with friends and family. No one could pack a cooler for the beach better than Eddie, he always had an ice cold beer ready for his friends.
Eddie spent the past five years taking care of Carol while she suffered from Alzheimer's disease. He loved her dearly and was always by her side. He enjoyed visiting with his children, grandchildren and sharing laughs with friends, but his thoughts were always with his wife. Eddie will always be remembered for his big smile and caring heart.
He is survived by his wife Carol (Thomas) Derderian, mother Alice Derderian, sister Carol (Derderian) Conley and her husband, William of Wakefield, MA, his son Arra Derderian and his wife Laura and their children Lily, Emily, and Thomas “TJ” Derderian of Killington, VT, and his daughter Carly and her husband Matthew Munchbach and their dog, Brody of Dorchester, MA.
