Joseph H. Magee Jr, age 75, passed away on January 29, 2024 peacefully at his home. He was born on September 5, 1948 in Springfield,MA. son of the late Joseph Magee Sr and Jeannette (Phaneuf) Magee. Joseph graduated from Cathedral High School, class of 1966 and then attended Springfield Technical Community College where he earned an Associates Degree in Engineering. He worked various jobs, but his love for traveling landed him a job as a courier driver which he did for many years before he retired. He is survived by his son Silas Magee and his wife Amy; four grandchildren Mackenzie, Silas Jr, Mackennah, and Isaac of Holland, VT; his siblings Deborah and her husband William of Merrimack NH, James and his partner Denise Cyr of Salem NH, Margaret and her husband Mark of Monson, MA, and Michael and his wife Sally of Ludlow, MA. along with many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his older brother George. Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. The Grise Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
