Joseph Domingo Rose, 92, of Spring Hill, Florida passed away on Saturday December 23, 2023.
He was born on July 7, 1931 in New Bedford, Massachusetts to Joseph Rose and Maria (Gomes) Rose.
Joseph served in U.S. Army during the Korean War and was the recipient of the Purple Heart for wounds suffered in the line of duty. He was a graduate of Bryant College with a degree in Business/Accounting. After graduation he began a long career at Owens-Corning Fiberglass where he supervised the Accounting Department until his retirement at the age of 58.
He is survived by his children, Michael, Lisa, Sorita and her husband Robert, Dominick, and Rena and her husband Elias; his children’s mother, Natalie Rose; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; his sister, Linda (Rose) Silveira and her husband Daniel; his nephew, Daniel Jr. and his wife Kim; his nieces, Nicole and her wife Julie, Kim, and Tina; and eight great-nieces. He also leaves the love of his life for 43 years, Violet Howell; his stepchildren, Donna, Philip, William, Andrea, Jeanna, and David; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and many family members in California.
He was predeceased by his brother, Donald Rose, and Michael’s mother, Ruth Gomes.
