Ana (Clarimundo) Dupuy, 93, of New Bedford passed away Tuesday January 30, 2024. She was the wife of the late Roger J. Dupuy.
Born in Brava, Cape Verde, the daughter of the late Leopoldina (Clarimundo) Rodrigues and Armando Miranda, she lived in Senegal and France before moving to New Bedford in 1963.
A woman of deep faith, Ana enjoyed cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her sons, Pierre Dupuy and Armand Dupuy; her siblings, Helena Fernandes, Edith Tavares, and Jaime Paulo Clarimundo; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her daughters, Claudie Dupuy and Christine Vitti, and her siblings, Ecilda Cruz and Jose Paulo Clarimundo.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday February 6th at 11 AM at St. Lawrence Church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
