Lisa Marcus Innis Eastman, 60, of Whitman, Massachusetts passed away on January 29th, 2024 after a short battle with cancer.
Born in Brockton, Massachusetts in 1963, first and only daughter of Joseph and Dianne (Scholz) Marcus, her humor and wit will be missed by everyone she knew and loved. She was creative and hilarious, loved spending summer weekends going to yard sales and discovering new restaurants around the south shore or anywhere her grandson’s hockey games brought her out to.
Her mornings were dedicated to trying to beat her cousins Kim Egan and Wayne Osborne in Wordle, while cuddling her dog-daughter Danya.
She spent 22 years as a waitress at Not Just Seafood supporting her family, then continued in the hospitality industry in customer service at Uppababy for 14 years, making lifelong friendships at both.
She was the loving wife of John Eastman, whom she met in fifth grade and reconnected with through Facebook years later to find out he was ‘the one’. They spent every day together, making sure to always be present for their grandchildren’s sports, birthdays, and everything in between.
She is survived by her mother Dianne Marcus, her husband John Eastman, her son Joseph Innis, her daughter Julianne Innis, her daughter-in-law Rachel Phillips, and her three beloved grandchildren Joseph, Benjamin, and Joshua Innis.
Family and friends are invited to attend Lisa’s visiting hours Friday, February 2, 2024 from 4:00-7:00 PM with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman.
