Linda Takouhie (Janikian) Takvorian
Of Burlington, formerly of Watertown, loving wife of 48 years to Greg Takvorian, devoted mother of Mark Takvorian and Erika Whelan, passed away peacefully at the age of 72 surrounded by her family at Lahey Clinic in Burlington.
Linda, daughter of the late Gorun and Margaret Janikian, is survived by her brother Gordon Janikian; son-in-law Sean Whelan and granddaughter Scarlett Whelan; future daughter-in-law Katie McCormick; brother-in-law Rich Takvorian and his wife Cindy; sister-in-law Andrea Orchanian and her husband Zohrab; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.
Linda loved nothing more than being around gatherings of her family. Always the gracious host, Linda could generally be found entertaining her guests with her magnificent cooking. She also had a passion for traveling with her family, taking Disney vacations, and going on cruises.
Funeral service at St. James Armenian Church, 465 Mount Auburn Street, Watertown on Monday, February 5 at 11:00 a.m. Visiting hours at the Aram Bedrosian Funeral Home, 558 Mount Auburn Street, Watertown, on Sunday, February 4 from 2-5 p.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to St. James Armenian Church. Interment at Ridgelawn Cemetery, Watertown.
