Billotte, Catherine M. "Cathy" of South Boston, passed peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family after a courageous three-year battle with cancer.
Daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (O’Leary) Billotte. Loving sister of Jimmy Billotte and his wife Diane of Springhills Florida, Diane Doyle and her late husband Dan, Janice Hynes and her husband Jack, Shirley Billotte all of South Boston, Peggy Cricchio and her husband Michael of Richmond, Virginia. Devoted and Beloved Special aunt of Jessyca Doyle. Cherished aunt and great aunt of the Billotte, Doyle, Hynes, Cricchio, and Kennedy kids. Also survived by many loving cousins and friends. Retired after 40 plus years from the Boston Park Plaza Hotel, Local 26.
Cathy will be missed by all who loved her, especially her loving family and all “the kids”. Cathy’s family was everything to her, she enjoyed the time she spent at family gatherings, walking out the island, sitting at the docks watching the ships and most of all making her wreaths for every holiday.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Gate of Heaven Church on Friday, February 2nd at 10:00 AM. All are welcome.
