Garrett Ludwig Husslein, 42, of Derry, NH, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday January 25, 2024. He was born on March 9, 1981 in Smithtown, NY, a son of Gary and Judith (Maune) Husslein. He was a resident of Derry for 4.5 years, formerly living on Long Island, NY.
Garrett graduated from Smithtown High School and later attended Wentworth Institute of Technology for welding. He has created many beautiful works of art using these skills and many more. He has the owner SMS Automotive Restoration Services for three years and expanded the business to include other small automotive and body repairs.
Garrett was a devoted husband, father, brother and son, and showed an open, generous heart to all he met.
In addition to his parents, Garrett is also survived by his beloved wife of 13 years, Erin (Carroll) Husslein, his son, Gavin Ludwig Husslein, one sister, Amanda Fenner and her husband Richard; his father and mother-in-law, Jake and Pat Carroll, three brothers-in-law, Jake Carroll, Michael Carroll and his wife Cathy, and Tim Carroll; five nieces and nephews, Sierra, Michael Patrick, George, Max and Ava, maternal grandmother, Henrietta Maune; as well as many aunts, uncles and extended family.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, February 4, 2024 from 1 - 5 PM in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. Funeral services will be held privately.
