Susan loved life, and lived it to its fullest! She especially enjoyed spending time with family - at holidays, birthdays, graduations, recitals – any excuse to get together with the large clan she was so devoted to. She also enjoyed music, sewing, reading, movies, and was an avid court tv fan (likely influenced by her many years working in the courts herself!).

Susan Marie Reed wasn’t just one thing in her life, she was many: an amazing wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, and most importantly she was a force for good. No matter who you were, she found a way to impact your life in an amazing way. She was a great friend who lent an ear, a shoulder, or a hug whenever it was needed. She was a revered role model to the many who dared to live to her standards.

Susan always knew how to make people feel special and never held back her love. Her contagious humor brought joy and laughter to all those she met. It was one of her most memorable traits! She always found ways of making others smile with her wit.

She will be remembered as an intelligent, funny, loving, and compassionate person who found the joy in each moment and who found meaning in giving to others.

Susan was an amazing soul whom God took too soon. But there’s no doubt she will fly high over us all, looking down and continuing to push us to thrive, offering guidance into our brightest days to come.

We will love you forever and always, Susan. In our hearts for eternity.

In honor of Susan’s wishes, a Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, February 11, 2024, from 12:00-4:00, at the Adams Heights Men’s Club (63 Bower Road, Quincy, MA 02169). Cash Bar.
