Anne M. (Conroy) Marian, age 76, of Mansfield, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, January 30, 2024. She was the beloved wife of Roy P. Marian, to whom she was wed on May 15, 2010.
Born in Boston, MA on June 13, 1947, she was a loving daughter of the late Joseph J. and Agnes A. (Buckley) Conroy.
Anne grew up in South Boston and was a 1965 graduate of South Boston High School. She had made her home in Mansfield for the past twelve years and prior to retiring in 2008, was employed for twenty years as a secretary for the Brockton School System. She was also a communicant at the former Saint Margaret’s Church in Brockton.
Anne’s love for family was second-to-none and the lifelong memories she created will live on in their hearts forever, especially during the Christmas Season, her favorite holiday time of the year.
Anne enjoyed arts & crafts, decorating, crocheting, jigsaw puzzles and shopping, particularly online on QVC and adding to her Annalee collection. Other favorite times were spent on trips to New Hampshire to take in it’s beautiful fall foliage, spending time in North Conway and dining out at Hart’s Turkey Farm in Meredith.
In addition to her beloved husband, she is survived by her devoted children: Shawn Wallace and his wife Jayne of East Taunton, Carrie McDermott and her husband Josh of Carver, Michelle Wallace and her husband Robert of Taunton, Amy Dobbins and her husband Michael of Tennessee and Matthew Marian and his wife Gina of Marshfield. She was the cherished grandmother of Peter, Marshall, MacKenzie, Briannah, Bobby, Kaiden, Luke, Matthew, Patrick, Isabella, Joseph, Mattea and Thomas and the treasured great grandmother of Keegan.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, February 4th from 1:30-4:30 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street Mansfield.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Monday, February 5th at 11:00 A.M. at the Spring Brook Cemetery in Mansfield.
