DUFFY, JUDITH M. (MCGUIRE) lifelong resident of South Boston passed away on January 26, 2024 after a brief illness.
Beloved wife of the late Joseph Duffy. Loving mother of Maureen (Mullin) Silk and James L. Mullin Jr. Sister of Francis X. McGuire and his wife Marion of Arizona, Susan Gailunas and her husband Peter of South Boston as well as the late John McGuire and his surviving spouse Maureen of Melrose and the late David McGuire and his surviving spouse Diane of Natick. Survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Judy was a Shattuck Award recipient for excellence in City Government and a retired Assistant City Clerk of Boston.
Visiting hours will be held at the Casper Funeral Home located at 187 Dorchester Street in South Boston on Sunday, February 4, 2024 from 3-6PM. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Brigid Parish in South Boston on Monday, February 5, 2024 at 10AM. Burial to follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Judy’s memory to St. Jude Children Hospital
