It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, brother and grandfather, Fred Sedillos.
Fred was born on May 2,1957, to Margaret and Fred Sedillos, Sr. Upon graduation from high school, he joined the U.S. Marine Corps and became a military police officer. After completing his military service, he became a police officer with Oxnard PD in 1980, retiring at the rank of Sergeant after 29 years of service. Fred was dedicated to his work and the officers he guided and mentored.
In his off time, Fred loved to fish, go camping, Christmas at Disneyland with his family, and being a dad and a grandfather. He always made sure his children knew how much they were loved and how proud he was of them.
He is survived by his wife, Kymberly, children Laura, Leah and Michael, daughter-in-law Marisol, son-in-law Dennis, stepchildren Brenden and Taylor, sisters Kathy and Teresa, grandchildren Cruz, Ava and Addison, and all the family and friends who loved him.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass will take place on March 7, 2024 at 10:00 am at Santa Clara Church, 323 S. “E” Street, Oxnard.
