Heidi Robinson peacefully passed away at her home with her glass of wine and her cat by her side on January 24, 2024 in Ventura, California. She fought a strong battle againist cancer for 16 months.
Heidi was born in Inglewood,California to her parents Maria and Erich Weidenkeller. She moved to Ventura when she was five years old with her siblings Roland and Brigit.
She attended elementary school at Saticoy, middle school at Cabrillo and graduated from Buena High School in 1982. She then continued her education at Ventura College and earned her associates degree in 1985. She earned her RDA license in 1985. She attended Pasadena City College dental hygiene program from 1992-1994 and was her class secretary.
Her love of dentistry began as a dental receptionist for Drs Coyner,McConnell and Blackman. She was a warm and passionate hygienist who loved her profession.She always had a smile on her face.The patients all loved and respected her.She was a hard worker and paid attention to detail with her patients.Heidi was always the first one to work often arriving 30 minutes before anyone else.She loved to do crossword puzzles and wordle during her lunchtime.
She served her community as a dental hygienist providing care to her patients at the following offices:Dr. Clyde Blackman, Dr.Coyner, Dr.McConnell,Dr.John LaBare,Dr.Phillip Kroll,Goldenberg Dentistry,Dr.Robert Valdez, Dr.Andrew Jeanbart and Dr.Farid Azhar.
She felt her patients here were her family.
She is survived by her sister Brigit,sister-in law Diana Trevor, sister-in -law Lynne Weidenkeller,nieces and nephews Matthew McNew,Stephanie McNew, Erich Weidenkeller, Iva Weidenkeller, Jamie,Mike and Melinda. Heidi was proceded in death by her father Erich, mother Maria , brother Roland and former husband Steve Robinson.
Friends and family are thankful to Alma, Meahgan, Elena and Raquel from Assisted Hospice Care.
Celebration of Heidi's life will be held on Sunday afternoon March 3, 2024, at 1:00 in the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, 757 E. Main street Ventura, CA 93001
