Obituary

Courtney Allison Boyce, 44, of Santa Paula, CA, passed away on January 24th, 2024, in her home. Courtney was born in Santa Paula to Gary and Anna Nichols on November 29th, 1979. She went to Santa Paula High School and graduated in 1998. She worked in Aerospace for many years, but her true love was building and working on experimental class aircraft including Red Bull Air Racers and helping to build a single engine airplane that set a world record. Along with her love of aviation, she was also a cowgirl at heart who loved riding horses and volunteering as a leader in programs teaching children about raising animals for show at the Ventura County Fair. Her love of animals extended to her pets which included cats, dogs, and horses and from time to time she was everyone’s go-to “Pet Doctor”. She shared a love of Disneyland with her friends and family, making as many trips to the park as possible. She was an accomplished Chef with a love of cooking shows and experimenting in the kitchen. In her younger years, she was a Rock and Roller with many colorful hairstyles and passion for the music scene, where she met her loving husband. She was loved by so many that at times there wasn’t enough of her to go around, but she would still do anything she could for the people in her life. She was an overwhelming force that will be missed by all who knew her.

Courtney is survived by her husband Malachi Boyce of Santa Paula, her mother Anna Nichols, sister Amanda Vogt, her husband Jason Vogt, sister Vanessa Lowe, brother Brandon Nichols, uncle Bill Morris, nephews Zack Lowe, Dalton Lowe, Kurt Nichols, Kallon Vogt, Kyron Vogt, Micah Boyce Malachi Boyce; Nieces Madison Boyce, Anna Lowe, Magen Lowe (Little Bugs) and their father Eddie Lowe.
