Sylvia (Tody) Brustolon Startz 89, of Mystic, was born May 13, 1934 to the late Emilio and Ida (Dart) Brustolon. She attended Broadway and Stonington High Schools and graduated in 1952. She passed away Jan 23, 2024 in her home with her 2-children, Kurt Startz and Kim Jackson of Woodbridge, VA by her side. She was married to Frederick (Bud ) Startz; he predeceased her in 1982, sisters predeceased Vivan Brannegan , Gloria Hogan, step-brother predeceased, Eddie Burgess and surviving step-sister, Joan Mackiewicz. She had four grandchildren, five-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Tody was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who loved caring for her home, spending time in the yard, gardening, tending to her flowers, watching her grandchildren’s many activities and enjoyed sewing. She was an avid fan of Boston Celtics and Red Sox’s.
