Robert A. Duro, age 66, of Mansfield, formerly of Foxborough, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Friday, January 26, 2017.
Born in Boston, MA on April 17, 1957, he was a loving son of the late Arthur and Elizabeth (Margaritis) Duro.
Bob grew up in the West Roxbury Neighborhood of Boston and was a 1975 graduate of Catholic Memorial High School in West Roxbury.
A resident of Mansfield for the past twenty years, he had previously made his home in Foxborough and proudly owned and operated his own Internet Consulting Company.
Bob enjoyed sailing, skiing, traveling, all types of trains and building things with Lego’s. He had a special place in his heart for the dogs that frequented his home throughout the years and received much pleasure volunteering his assistance at the Mansfield Animal Shelter.
He is survived by his devoted sister Lorraine G. Lewis and her husband Thomas of Bridgewater. He was the cherished uncle and godfather of Kristin B. Lewis and her husband Williams Walters of Bridgewater and also the adoring godfather of Victoria Dunn of Framingham.
His funeral service, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Friday, February 2nd at 10:30 A.M. in Saint Gregory the Theologian Greek Orthodox Church, 1007 West Street, Mansfield.
Visitation will be prior to the services on Friday morning, prior to the services, in the church, beginning at 10:00 A.M.
Burial will be held at a later date, at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.
