Obituary

LACONIA ---- William “Bill” Clarence Lewis, 85, of Warren Street, died on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at home surrounded by his loved ones.

Bill was born on November 14, 1938, in Andover, NH, the son of the late Clarence Lewis and Florence (Moses) Lewis.

Bill owned the Windjammer and Rainbow Café. He also worked for New Hampshire Ball Bearings.

He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Sandra Lewis; daughters, Debby Cutting and her husband Larry, of Concord, NH, Doreen Cote and her husband David, of Northfield, NH, and Tracey Dawes, of Winnisquam, NH; brother Ralph Lewis and his wife Karen, of Contoocook, NH; sister Barbara Woods, of Franklin, NH; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is pre-deceased by his daughters, Donna Bonn and Bethany Faust, and his sister Sally.

The family suggests donations be made in Bill’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association, 166 S. River Road # 210, Bedford, NH 03110 or the New Hampshire Humane Society, PO Box 572, Laconia, NH 03247.
