Alan A. "Al" LeBlanc, 61, of Derry, NH, died Thursday January 25, 2024, at Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA. after a period of declining health. Al was born on March 12, 1962 in Haverhill, MA and was a son of the late Ronald and Josephine (Arsenault) LeBlanc. He was raised and educated in Haverhill and had been a resident of Derry for the past 7 years.
Al served his country in the US Army in the 82nd Airborne Division. He worked for many years as a Truck Driver and had most recently been employed as a pump technician with Scherbon Consolidated. He was a handyman who could fix everything and the confidence to take on anything. He will forever be remembered as a loving husband, father and especially grandfather, who was loved by many.
He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Sally (LaRue) LeBlanc of Derry; a daughter, Morgan (Chase) Grinley; a son, Danny LeBlanc; step-daughter, Rondi (Nicholas) Houle; step-son, Ethen (Shelby) Williams; his six grandchildren, Aradia, Evander, Layla, Lainey, Jessie Mae and Juniper Rae, two brothers, Rick (Brenda) LeBlanc and Randy (Peggy) LeBlanc; two sisters, Dale Moore and Sandra (Ralph) Hutchinson; and his beloved alter ego Charlie the Cat (known as "Little Al".)
After cremation, the family is planning a celebration of life for a later date.
