Bruno “Brunie” Bonaccorsi passed away peacefully supported by the love of his family on Tuesday, January 23rd. He was 67. Raised in Medford he was the son of the late Tina A. (Lemmi) Palladino and stepson of Edward Palladino of Medford.
A Medford resident throughout his life, Brunie was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend to many. After completing his formal education, Brunie worked at the Hegner Center of Medford and with Project Triangle. After his retirement, he participated in programs at the Walnut Street Center in Medford. Brunie was part of a large extended family and cherished taking part in family events and celebrations as well as at civic events and at Sunday Mass. Always on the sidelines of sporting events for nieces and nephews, Brunie never missed a chance to offer his coaching expertise. Brunie loved good food, especially meatballs, ziti and sausages, as well as Chinese food.
The beloved son of the late Tina A. (Lemmi) Palladino and stepson of Edward Palladino of Medford, Brunie was the devoted brother of Carol Caraviello and her husband Rick of Medford, and Mark Bonaccorsi and his wife Patricia of Venice, Florida. He was a loving uncle to Richard and his wife Lisa, Lauren and her husband Joey, Nicole and her husband Stephen, Jonathan, Tyler and Trevor. He leaves many dear great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Brunie's family would like to thank the staff at the May Institute for giving Brunie wonderful care and support these past few years.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with the family at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Wednesday, January 31st from 4 -7 PM and again on Thursday morning at 10 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford, at 11 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery.
