DUBY, John F. Age 75, of Roslindale, formerly of Forest Hills, suddenly on January 22, 2024. Predeceased by his devoted parents, James J. and Kathryn M. (Mahoney), and sister, Cdr. Patricia M. Sessions, USN. Survived by his loving sister, Barbara F. and honorary sister/cousin Fran Murphy, both of Roslindale, together with his lifelong friend and loving companion Kathy Benway, his much beloved niece and nephews Wendy, Alex and Mark, great-niece and nephew Meghan and Adam, eight great-great nieces and nephews, and by his many cherished cousins, their children and grandchildren, together with a host of friends dating from playground days to the present. He was the very proud Godfather of Daniel Murphy, Janna Murphy and Meghan Ledwell.
John had worked for a number of firms in the accounting and credit fields, but in retirement found his special niche as a ranger at the Norwood Country Club.

Visiting Hours in the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre Street, West Roxbury on Friday, February 2, 2024 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM. Followed by a Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Roslindale at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Roslindale.
