Tammy Tucker Parker, 63, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton Georgia, after a valiant fight with breast cancer.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Parker was born September 15, 1960, in Irwin County, Georgia, to Elizabeth Jackson Tucker and the late Orman Lee Tucker. She graduated from Ben Hill Irwin Tech with an Associates degree and worked in Human Resources for East Central Technical College and South Georgia College. Mrs. Parker was a lover of all animals and enjoyed the outdoors, especially the mountains. She was a friend to many and a member of Arbor Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Tracy Parker of Fitzgerald; a daughter, Rachel Lott & her husband, Keith of Tifton; her mother, Elizabeth Tucker of Mystic; a brother, Keith Tucker of Irwinville; two step-sons: Dana Parker and Jess Parker, both of Tifton; two nephews: Dustin Tucker and Trevor Tucker. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Denver Lott; an infant brother, Jeffrey Wade Tucker and a step-son, Preston Parker.
Paulk Funeral Home, Fitzgerald, is in charge of arrangements.
