Jane lived a full life as an intelligent woman, wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and home
maker. She worked as a tufter in a textile mill, housekeeper at St. Stanislaus and cafeteria
worker at a Fall River elementary school. With a strong belief in God and a love of Country and
nature, she was a compassionate and passionate spirit caring for others, volunteering at her
parish, at a soup kitchen and keeping up with local and national politics. The simplest pleasures
in life brought her great joy. She loved the sun, quiet time at home, cooking and cooking shows,
pets, wild birds, feral cats, knitting, crocheting, an occasional adventure and of course –
gardening.
