Leonard “Lenny” Lodi of Dedham, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2024 at the age of 64 after a long three-year battle with Lewy Body Disease. Son of the late Louis and Mary Lodi. Brother to Linda Mulligan and her husband Paul of Florida, Larry Lodi of Dedham, Lorraine Rowell and her husband John of West Roxbury, and Leo Lodi and his wife Marie of Peabody. Proud uncle to Jill, Jackie, Brian, Caitlin and Trevor.
Lenny grew up in Dorchester and Roslindale and graduated from Boston Tech and Grahm Junior College in Kenmore Sq.
He worked as a long-time Box Office Manager for Shear Madness at the Charles Playhouse in the Boston Theater District, where he was loved by many co-workers and friends that he met over the years. A cup of coffee and the Herald to start the day and a Miller High Life to end the day was a familiar sight.
Other than the parking tickets, Lenny loved the Boston night life and entertainment scene. He attended hundreds of shows, plays, comedy acts and concerts over the last four decades.
He was an avid fan of the Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics and Bruins and lived to see all four teams win multiple championships.
Lenny loved what he did; and did what he loved.
His kind, generous, and thoughtful soul will be greatly missed.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to visiting hours at the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St. West Roxbury on Friday, January 26 from 10am-12pm concluding with a Funeral Service at noon.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Lenny may be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association at LBDA.org.
