Brenda Joyce Walker Lilly, 66, of Berrien County passed away Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 25, 2024, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Rickey Wells officiating. Mrs. Lilly will be laid to rest at Arabi-Antioch Cemetery in Arabi. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 25, 2024, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.
Jonathon Horton, Blaine King, Billy Grimes, Gary Burgess, David Barker and Josh Hilton will serve as pallbearers.
Born September 6, 1957, in Fort Knox, Kentucky, Mrs. Lilly was the daughter of the late Ralph Walker and Barbara Salter Walker. She was also preceded in death by one step-son, Shawn Lilly; one brother, Buddy Walker; three sisters, Peggy Jean Walker, Debbie Walker Griffin and Linda Faye Newbern; and her father-in-law, Ed Lilly. She retired from Shaw Industries in Tifton.
Mrs. Lilly is survived by her husband, William “Eddie” Lilly, Jr. of Berrien County; one son, Brian King of Berrien County; one daughter and son-in-law, Marie and Sean Freeman of Port St. Lucie, Florida; two step-daughters, Cindy and David Barker of Savannah and Mattie Lilly and Melvin Archer of Worth County; one brother and sister-in-law, Tim and Renate Walker of Enigma; two brothers-in-law and their wives, Richard and Shirley Lilly of Lee County and Jeff and Rosette Lilly of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; one sister-in-law, Patricia Early of Albany; her mother-in-law, Grace Lilly of Albany; four grandchildren, Nichole Freeman, McKennzey Manning, Blaine King and Kreston King; thirteen additional grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
