Linda C. St. Jean, 70, of Dartmouth died January 17, 2024 at Charlton Memorial Hospital.
Born in New Bedford, she was the daughter of the late Eugene A. and Lillian V. (Dupont) St. Jean. She lived in New Bedford most of her life before moving to Dartmouth.
She was formerly employed as a clerk for the City of New Bedford's Department of Health. Prior to that she also worked at Cliftex and the Acushnet Company. Linda was also the Greeter at Anchor House for the past 22 years, a job she was very proud of.
Linda cherished her 2 sons more than anything else in her life. Spending time with them and her Grandchildren were her favorite activities. She also loved to do arts and crafts. She enjoyed ceramics, knitting and drawing. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a laugh that would light up any room.
Survivors include her 2 sons, Brian Pacheco and his wife Kristl of Belmont, and Jeffrey Pacheco and his wife Romina of New Bedford; 2 brothers, Paul St. Jean of Spring Hill, FL and John St. Jean of Fairhaven; 5 grandchildren, Gavin, Logan, Parker, Norah and Samuel; and many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Carol Rose and Theresa Hatfield.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 27th at 10 AM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Her family will receive guests on Saturday morning from 9-10 AM prior to her service. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
