Johnny Lee Harrod, Sr., 58, of Warwick passed away Monday, January 22, 2024, at his residence. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 27, 2024, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Troy Dykes officiating. Mr. Harrod will be laid to rest at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Omega. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 27, 2024, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.
Kyle Barfield, Darryl Wilkerson, Danny Dangar, Codie Withrow, Terry Ward and Joshua Molina will serve as pallbearers.
Born May 1, 1965, in Tifton, Mr. Harrod was the son of the late Alec “Harford” Harrod and Bessie “Alma” Howell Harrod. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Samanta Harrod; one grandson, Gabriel Molina. He was a farmer and employed by Bowen Wright Farms. He loved hunting and fishing. He loved his grandbabies; and he loved farming. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Omega.
Mr. Harrod is survived by his wife, Katherine “Kathy” Isdell Harrod of Warwick; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Johnny Lee Harrod, Jr. of Chiefland, Florida and Kyle and Tiffany Barfield of Pitts; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Hope and Joshua Molina of Sylvester, Amber Garnto of Warwick and Melissa and Russ Pugh of Americus; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Alec and Sonja Harrod of Steinhatchee, Florida and Benny Harrod of Omega; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Vicky and Bobby Walker of Omega and Martha and Roger Hardy of Pitts; sixteen grandchildren and their spouses, Tommy McBride and Alysa Garnto, Nevaeh Garnto, Chasity Garnto, Destiny Garnto, , Madison Richardson, Chianne Richardson, Charlie Richardson, Emma Barfield, Kennedy Barfield, Lillie-Mae Barfield, Kylee Barfield, Southern Barfield, Hunter and Madison Fowler, Ciarra and Justin Pritchard and Samatha Fowler; and three great-grandchildren.
