Irma J Harris (Moses) passed peacefully at the age of 90 on January 19, 2024.
She is preceded in death by her husband Leon Harris, her brothers Michael Moses and Billy Moses, and her parents Jennie Hansbrough and Walter Moses Sr. She is survived by her brother Walter Moses Jr and her sister Carol Starks; her six children Cheryl Soule, Leon Harris, Annette Gothage, Janice Harris-Hubbard, Tamara Harris, and Walter Harris; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, and their respective spouses. Born in Newellton, Louisiana, she moved to Brockton in the early 1950s to build a life and family, and through it all became a pillar of her community, touching numerous lives in the process, all with a smirk on her face and joy in her heart.
Following cremation, a public memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 444 Plain Street in Brockton, MA on February 3rd, 2024, at 2pm.
