FALL RIVER… Pamela C. Osterhous, age 41, passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Charlton Memorial Hospital.
Born in Pensacola, FL, Pamela was the daughter of Jaynie (Jones) Osterhous and the sister of Sara (Osterhous) Miller of Fall River, MA.
Pamela settled in Fall River, MA in 2013 and worked as a cashier for Empire Hyundai for ten years. Because of the strength Pam needed, it made her love Rosie the Riveter and she gained strength from that connection. Even with repeated hospitalizations that caused her to miss classes, Pam went to college and earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from UMASS Dartmouth.
Pam absolutely loved the beach, especially Florida where she grew up. She also enjoyed Pokémon and time spent with her family and friends. As a longtime friend recounted, “Pam's sweetness stands out to me. She always met each challenge with a good attitude, never got sucked into negative drama, always was a good friend and a good listener. The kind of person you always want on your team in any situation. I don't remember ever hearing her say something mean about anyone.”
In addition to her mother, survivors include her sister, Sara, and nephew, Nate Miller of Fall River, aunts Susan Edwards of Pensacola, FL and Lisa Risack of Bridgewater, NJ as well as her uncles Steve Jones of McDavid, FL and Ron Jones of Richardson, TX.
Memorial Service will be held Monday January 22, 2024 at 6:30 PM at SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River, MA. Visitation will be from 5-7PM.
