.LEROY KEITH OBITUARY
Leroy Franklin Keith, 83, of Northern Cambria, PA went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 20, 2024 from the Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA.
The son of the late Clellen Dahlven and Mary Ellen (Fetterman) Keith, he was born on July 30, 1940 in Barr Twp., Cambria, Co, PA on the family farm, where he still resided.
A man of great faith, since 1989 Leroy had been a minister with the Philadelphia Church of God and had previously from 1974 – 1989 been a minister with the Worldwide Church of God, based in Eugene, Oregon.
Leroy was the owner/operator of L F Keith Lumber Co since 1992. From 1966-1989 he worked in the carpentry shop at Krumenacker’s Builders Supply in Nicktown, PA. He greatly enjoyed playing the fife in the Sheepskin Band.
On August 4, 1985 he married Gloria Ann (Hodgson).
Surviving are his five children: John Dalvin Keith of Charlottesville, VA; Robert Lester Keith (Ruth) of Northern Cambria, PA; Deniece Marie Salamon (Jim) of Summerville, SC; Erick Leroy Keith (Kimberly) of Houston, TX and Jill Bienz (Brian) of Blairsville, PA; his stepchildren: Frank Edward Greco of Baltimore, MD; Amy Lou Byers of Ebensburg, PA; Stephen Hodgson of Revloc, PA and Jeremy Hodgson of Raleigh, NC; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and his brother, George C. Keith of Emeigh, PA.
Preceded in death by his parents; his wife Gloria in 2004; his two stepchildren: Mary Ann McCullough and Joe David Greco; his grandson: Zachary McCullough and his sister, Fae Dorine Bailey.
Family and friends will be received from 1-5:00 p.m. on Monday, January 22, 2024 at the Rairigh Funeral Home, Ltd. in Hillsdale, PA, where a 5:00 p.m. funeral service will be held following the visitation. Minister, Calvin Culpepper, Jr. will officiate. Interment will be at the McDowell Cemetery.
