Ellen M. “Ellie” Mobriant, 73, of Peckham Avenue, North Providence, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday January 18th in Fatima Hospital, North Providence. She was the wife of the late William C. Mobriant.
Born in Carlise, PA, a daughter of the late Helen (Lovely) Williams. She had lived in North Providence for 6 years previously living in Naples, FL and Glocester, RI. She had been self-employed at Ellie’s Melody Hill Shop at the Melody Hill Country Club in Harmony for more than 40 years before going into semi-retirement and relocating to Naples FL.
Ellie loved to spend her off seasons traveling with her friends.
A favorite pastime was to spend time on Englewood beach, FL searching for shark teeth. She was happiest spending time with her grandchildren.
She leaves her children, Brandi Ross of North Providence and Jamison “JC” Mobriant of Harmony. She was the grandmother of Sadie, Abbie, and Cassidie. She was the great-grandmother of River. She was the sister of Marshall Williams of Bell, FL, and Diane Delfino of Glocester. She was the sister of the late Edward Williams.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday January 27th at 11am in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Visitation will be held Saturday morning from 9am to 10:30am.
