BELMONT ---- Robert E. Sidney Jr., 57, of Leisure Lane, passed away at his home on Thursday, January 18, 2024.
Robert was born on August 4, 1966, in Laconia, the son of Robert Sidney Sr., and Gladys (Hoyt) Sidney.
He enjoyed racing, snowmobiling, four wheeling, and NASCAR. Rob loved to be around his neighbors and friends hanging out in the “Trailer Hood”. Rob was the life of the party from his wisecracks to his epic dance moves.
Rob had many grandchildren who he loved to be around and watch grow. He was a grandfather to so many children who grew up around him in the neighborhood. Rob was always willing to lend his skills and knowledge to help anyone out.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Ann (LaPlante) Sidney, son Christopher Clough, nieces Missy Royea and Jamie Royea, nephew Richard Royea, his step children, Amy and Mark Perkins, Richard and Becky Simonds, Elizabeth and Anthony Watson, Amanda Simonds, April and Josiah Williams, and Andrew and Norma Simonds. Robert is predeceased by his parents and sister Candy Royea.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at 1:00pm, at Wicwas Lake Grange, #292 150 Meredith Center Road, Meredith, NH 03253.
