Jesse James Harbeck, age 36, of Salem, NH passed away peacefully Dec. 10, 2023.
He was born Aug. 9, 1987.
Jesse was an incredibly hard working man, dedicated friend, loving sibling and beloved son.
Jesse had an attraction to working with his hands. Whether that meant construction or auto mechanics, he would do just about anything when he set his mind to it. In high school, Jesse enrolled himself in an automotive class where he learned the basics of auto mechanics. He was able to apply this knowledge at home working in his father’s automotive shop (E & J Harbeck Auto). More recently, Jesse landed a position at an auto shop in Nashua, NH, where he gained the reputation as a hardworking, valued and well respected employee.
Jesse applied himself in recent years, working on his personal recovery and changing his life for the better. In November, 2023, Jesse successfully completed the Drug Court Program in Hillsborough County and maintained sobriety for a period of approximately 2 years. Additionally, Jesse started his own mobile repair business and had an increasing customer base.
Jesse loved to fish and spent time with friends and family. Despite being an introvert, Jesse valued quality time with others. During his recent recovery, Jesse was able to reconnect with loved ones and started frequenting family events and functions. Everyone loved Jesse, not just for his goofy nature, but for the person he was: a good hearted individual striving to live a better life. May his body rest in peace and spirit live forever.
He was survived by his mother, Juliana Harbeck, five siblings, Jason Briere, Brandy Gould, Aaron Gould, Eric Harbeck Jr and Ashleigh Harbeck and many other loved ones.
SERVICES: The Harbeck family will be holding a celebration of Jesse’s life Sunday, Jan. 28, from 2 to 6 p.m. at the American Legion, 15 Cottage St., Milford, NH 03055."
